Everyone was really cool but she was just so enthusiastic and fun. And she even said THE line! Seeing Patrick Macnee up there was pretty cool as well. All in all a pretty awesome way to spend a weekend! -Mark

monolith21 Thursday, November 06, 2003 03:47 am EST	RE: Sarah at Galacticon! IP: Logged Message: Hey! Sorry I took so long to reply! The line I was talking about was "LAUNCH WHEN READY"! The convention was great! Not much in the dealers room, but the panels more than made up for it! It was really cool to see cast together after all these years and watch them interact with each other. The part of the convention that really stuck with me was the presentation that Tom Desantos made about the Battlestar Galactica project he and Brian Singer had been working on until the new mini series snagged the property. WE really got F'd over on that one...his continuation would have been amazing! I wish every last one of you could have seen all the designs and pre production work. The new Cylon Base Star had all of the raiders dock on the outside of the ship forming an outter shell of fighters. When they would launch it was meant to look like bats flying out of their cave (I don't know how to explain it...but it was scary looking!) He went over the story he had planned out as well and I'm not sure why any sane studio would pass it up. The whole thing was just great. The ladies of Battlestar Galactica panel was pretty cool as well. Sarah really lit up the room! Like I said before...a really awesome way to spend a weekend!
